- Develop and/or contribute to the individualized plan of care, ensuring it reflects assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the outcomes of that plan.
- Ensure patient safety by utilizing the five rights, preventing falls, decubitus prevention, and nosocomial infections.
- Document accurately, legibly, dated, and timed, reflecting nursing process and interventions and evaluations taken.
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in L & D, or successful completion of a KP L&D course (which includes basic fetal monitoring and NRP) or approved equivalent within prior 12 months.
