Job Summary:As a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, including medication administration, admissions, and service plans. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications to residents in compliance with Federal and State regulations
- Admit new residents, including all admission assessments and documentation
- Complete service plans and resident documentation, including communication with family members
- May be responsible for clinical system tracking, such as wounds or infection control, under the direction of the Director
- Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with residents, families, and staff
- Respond quickly to emergencies and work collaboratively with the team
- Provide educational meetings for residents and staff, and attend all required training and staff meetings
- May provide oversight and direction for care staff
- Maintain confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through prevention of accidents and preservation of equipment
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN of the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Must be Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified or willing to become certified
