Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the State of Louisiana. As a Police Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining public safety and order, protecting lives and property, and upholding the law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct foot and mobile security patrols to prevent and detect crime
  • Enforce parking and traffic regulations to ensure public safety
  • Render emergency services, including first aid and rescue operations
  • Investigate minor crimes, gather evidence, and interview witnesses
  • Make arrests when necessary, following established protocols and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
