Job Title: Child Welfare Paralegal Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Child Welfare Paralegal Specialist to join our team at Voce.

In this role, you will work closely with our attorneys and county officials to ensure the legal process runs smoothly for children in foster care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal procedures and excellent communication skills.

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

You will be responsible for:

  • Drafting legal documents for solicitor review
  • Participating in county court hearings and pre-hearing conferences
  • Assisting with all aspects of lay and expert witness preparation
  • Facilitating and/or training on approved LSI training topics
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting petitions, orders, motions, and stipulations for solicitor review
  • Participating in county court hearings and pre-hearing conferences
  • Preparing lay and expert witnesses for testimony
  • Training on approved LSI topics
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience or an Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or paralegal certificate
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
