We are seeking a skilled CVOR/Surgical Technician to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CVOR/Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting the surgical team during operative procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for cardiac operations.
- Pass items to doctors and nurses as needed.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide assistance during surgical procedures performed in the department.
- Perform delegated duties consistent with your scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery.
Requirements:
- 2 years' recent acute care experience.
- NBSTSA Certification.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
