Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist

DT-Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to work in our cardiac catheterization lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in imaging equipment and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiovascular procedures and tests
  • Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper function
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care
  • Meet productivity and quality standards
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in cardiovascular technology
  • Advanced knowledge of imaging equipment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Credentials and NM state licensing (RN, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapy, medical Imaging or Radiation Therapy)

The fee is $110 (responsibility of the traveler or agency).

For application: CCI Registry, RTR, RCIS, RCES, BLS, ACLS certifications required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. Floating requirements: Yes – Candidate will float to support both Rust Medical Center & Presbyterian Hospital (18 miles apart)

Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Scrubs required and provided by the facility.
