Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist - PRN will be responsible for examining and evaluating patients, developing effective treatment plans tailored to the patient's condition. The ideal candidate will measure patient progress, modify treatment plans, and educate patients to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify treatment needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Current Florida Occupational Therapy license.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Less than one year of clinical experience in occupational therapy.
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services.
  • Splinting/orthotic fabrication skills.
