Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

GiaCare, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support services.

Job Qualifications:
  • Degree/Education: Certificate in Nursing from an accredited community college, junior college, college, university, or vocational nursing program.
  • Experience: One year of practical or vocational nurse experience after graduation, with a minimum of 12 months of hands-on patient care experience in an outpatient clinical setting within the past 24 months.
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification.
Job Duties:
  • Provide Separation Health and Physical Examinations (SHPE) related support that complies with Department of Defense and Air Force SHPE policy and guidance.
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and become proficient in the use of the following computer systems: Composite Health Care Systems (CHCS), Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), Aeromedical Services Information Management System (ASIMS), and Preventive Health Assessment and Individual Medical Readiness (PIMR).
  • Recognize urgent or emergent patient care situations, seek assistance of the RN and/or MD/DO/NP/PA, and initiate appropriate emergency interventions as directed.
