Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse
RN specializing in Endoscopy for a travel nursing opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Patient Assessment:
Conduct thorough patient evaluations following proper identification protocols. Ensure accurate assessment of chart findings and physical conditions, promptly reporting any irregularities to the medical team.
Communicate essential processes to patients and their families to facilitate understanding during their care.
2. Diagnosis:
Identify patient needs and issues through careful analysis of assessment data to establish relevant diagnoses.
3. Care Planning and Implementation:
Develop nursing care plans adhering to ANA and SGNA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice. Integrate and execute nursing practices throughout the continuum of care.
Maintain effective communication with all personnel to ensure operational efficiency while respecting patient confidentiality.
4. Evaluation:
Assess the effectiveness of interventions and modify the Plan of Care as necessary. Evaluate patient goals using established policies and standards of care.
5. Documentation:
Accurately document all patient interactions and educational interventions in the patient chart. Ensure compliance with nursing documentation standards.
6. Collaboration:
Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their rights are upheld.
Foster a patient-centered environment where the care team collaborates effectively to achieve patient goals.
Maintain open communication with patients and families to address concerns and expedite care.7. Education:
Orient and educate new staff on equipment usage and departmental policies. Uphold professional practice responsibilities and fulfill mandatory educational requirements.
8. Safety:
Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations. Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment, demonstrating knowledge of medication administration and sterile procedures.
9. Equipment Management:
Anticipate and provide necessary instruments and supplies. Ensure proper functioning and storage of equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Work Schedule:
Shifts available include 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM and 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Please indicate your shift preference.
