About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infant Education Specialist to join our team at The Learning Experience in Sachse, TX.

Job Overview

The Infant Education Specialist will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants aged six weeks to 12 months. This position involves developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula that foster sensory experiences, motor skills, and social-emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants, focusing on sensory experiences, motor skills, and social-emotional development.
  • Individualized Care: Provide individualized care and attention to each infant's unique needs, including feeding, diapering, and napping schedules.
  • Parent Communication: Establish and maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily updates and milestones, and conducting parent-teacher conferences to discuss infants' developmental progress.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for infants, following health and safety guidelines, and monitor and address any health-related issues promptly.
  • Classroom Management: Create a warm, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to infant development, and implement effective classroom management strategies considering the unique needs of infants.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
  • Experience: At least one year of professional teaching experience preferred; Six months of professional teaching experience required.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Availability: Must be willing to be flexible with schedule; operation hours 6:30am-6:30pm.
