Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Carson Oil Company. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a positive customer experience by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Retrieve and bag merchandise, redeem coupons, and process invoices.
  • Assist with breakfast preparation, deli assistance, and stock and clean soda and coffee stations.
  • Sanitize entry/exit doors, counters, equipment, and coolers throughout the shift.
  • Learn, maintain, and operate all processes associated with the position, including paperwork and scheduling.
  • Maintain a team environment with other employees and departments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle money.
  • Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift and regularly maneuver up to 20 pounds.
  • Exposure to variable temperatures, cleaning solvents, and chemicals.

Working Conditions

Work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent customer interactions. Regularly exposed to gasoline and oil products.
