About the Job

Animal Specialty Center in Yonkers, New York is seeking a part-time or per diem Veterinary Radiation Therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and perform quality assurance procedures.
  • Review setup instructions, radiation prescriptions, consents, treatment plans, and other documentation related to treatment delivery.
  • Monitor patients during treatment and maintain licensure, registration, and certifications as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Two years of clinical experience or graduation from a JRCERT-accredited program in radiation therapy.
  • Certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy or ARRT Board exam eligible.
  • Eligible for licensing by the New York State Department of Health as a radiologic technologist.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Varian TrueBeam radiotherapy preferred.
  • Strong interest in veterinary medicine and knowledge of the field.
