**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Measurement Technician to join our team at Targa Resources. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of oil measurement, adhering to State and Federal regulations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Learn and gain a good basic knowledge of Natural Gas Characteristics, Gas Plant Operations, Engine & Compressor Operations and Maintenance, and Gas & Liquid Measurement.
  • Perform scheduled calibrations, gas sampling, troubleshooting, repair and installation of Electronic Flow Measurement equipment, specifically Totalflow.
  • Witness and verify third party meter calibrations.
  • Assist in the operation, calibration and troubleshooting of H2S monitors.
  • General cleanup of assigned work areas (Measurement shop, office, company truck, etc.).

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to effectively work with minimum supervision.
  • Solid computer skills to include Microsoft Office Software.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Working knowledge of natural gas gathering and processing.
  • Understanding of gas and liquid chromatography.
