Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled F-16 Production Technician to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, and modifying aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test aircraft systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex aircraft systems, including landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, and rigging
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft systems, including disassembly, re-assembly, and testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective production processes
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and quality

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in aircraft production, overhaul, or modification
  • Knowledge of aircraft operating procedures, under power-on, hydraulics, or tethered utility feed system
  • F-16, fighter, or military aircraft flightline experience
  • Military/commercial aircraft assembly, maintenance, and/or modification experience
  • Craftsman level (5-level USAF) or similar from Navy, Army, Marines, or A&P qualifications
