Certification Requirements- ARRT (R) certification is mandatory.
Mission Hospital is a prominent 763-bed healthcare institution located in Asheville, North Carolina. Renowned as the region's only Level II trauma center, it also houses the only children's hospital in the western part of the state. The hospital is recognized for its diverse range of services, including:
- Women's health services
- Sports medicine
- Neurological care
- Cardiovascular services, including open heart and interventional cardiology
The facility has received numerous accolades for the quality of its services. The on-site Mission Children's Hospital features 97 beds dedicated to infants and children, including a 51-bed Level III NICU, with pediatric services that have earned various awards and accreditations.

Asheville is celebrated for its vibrant arts scene and stunning natural landscapes, situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be proficient in all aspects of CT Imaging, including:
- Diagnostic scans
- Invasive procedures
- ED trauma and stroke imaging
Preferred qualifications include experience with GE equipment, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and venipuncture.
Schedule Information- Staffing varies by shift, day, or week.
- Day Shift: 5 Technologists and a supervisor
- Evening Shift: 4-5 Technologists and a Radiology Assistant
- Night Shift: 2-3 Technologists and a Radiology Assistant
- Weekend shifts may be required.
- Potential for rotation to different shifts.
- On-call availability may be necessary (approximately 12 hours/month).
The CT Imaging unit is located on the 2nd floor of Building A. The unit is equipped with:
- GE Optima
- 3 GE EVO systems
- GE Revolution
- Medrad Injectors
Our electronic medical records system includes Cerner Rad Net and Phillips PACS. Typical procedures performed include neuro, musculoskeletal, body imaging, invasive, cardiac, and pediatric imaging.
Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will be a team player who can also work independently. A self-motivated individual who aligns with our values is essential. The dress code for this position requires black scrubs.
