At Argus Technical, we are excited to offer a competitive wage range for this position, set between $20 and $30 per hour, commensurate with experience and skill level.
Key Responsibilities:
This role encompasses a variety of essential tasks that contribute to our operational success. The following duties are not exhaustive and may be expanded as needed:
- Install and connect electrical systems in accordance with technical blueprints and specifications from the engineering team.
- Calibrate and troubleshoot components within large machinery electrical systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering department to test and enhance designs tailored to specific customer needs.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Engage in process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
- A preferred associate degree in electronics or a technical school equivalent, alongside three to five years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both manufacturing and administrative teams.
- Basic mathematical and algebraic skills.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, including drills, taps, benders, hole punches, bandsaws, and grinders.
