Lead Registered Behavior Technician

At Surpass Behavioral Health, we are dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children and teens with autism. Our team is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized therapy services in a 1:1 teaching format to children with autism in a clinical, school, and/or home setting.
  • Work as a valued member of our therapy teams to provide individualized services to children with autism, working under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Support clients in the Methacton School District.
  • Provide mentorship, support, and hands-on training to onboarding BTs and RBTs.
  • Assess the skill level of newly hired Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians and provide individualized training to best prepare them for the RBT examination and/or placement with clients.
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapeutic care to clients in a home, school, clinic, and/or community setting in order to implement behavioral treatment plans and instructional plans utilizing ABA principles as directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Partner with the Behavior Analyst to maintain ongoing communication with parents/caregivers regarding the clients progress and plan of care.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in behavioral health, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician Certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to move freely, quickly, and frequently from a seated position (on the floor or in a chair) to a standing position as well as the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
