Senior Java Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer to join our Enterprise Identity organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in software design reviews and create software flow and sequence diagrams
  • Conduct code reviews and aid in mentorship of junior engineers
  • Research new best software decisions and make recommendations on best practices
  • Design and implement microservices using Spring Boot and Java
  • Have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Core, Spring Data, microservices, design patterns, and relational and NoSQL databases

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience as a Senior Engineer
  • Expertise around Java 8, 11, and more recent versions, core Java
  • Strong experience building microservices in Spring
  • Understanding of reactive programming (e.g., with Vert.x)
  • Strong experience with architectural design principles
  • Understanding of authorizations and JWT
  • Experience leading code reviews, paired programming, and mentorship
