Position: Customer Service Representative I

Location: Mount Dora, FL

Employment Type: Part-time, Non-Exempt

Compensation: Starting Pay: $12.34/hour

Under the general oversight of the Customer Service Supervisor, this role is responsible for delivering professional support to the public as the primary liaison with the City. As the first point of contact, it is essential to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

This position encompasses a variety of tasks including clerical duties, record management, cash handling, payment processing, data entry, and customer service responsibilities related to the services offered by the City. The ability to work independently is crucial. Exceptional customer service skills, proficiency in computer applications, and prior experience in a similar role are vital for success in this position.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service. Candidates must be bondable and possess a valid Florida Driver License. Completion of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) training is mandatory within six months of the probationary period. A valid Florida Driver's License is also required.
