Logistics Warehouse Operator - Day Shift

This temporary position is for a Logistics Warehouse Operator within a rapidly expanding organization operating in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect incoming raw materials for any damage or discrepancies in quantity during the unloading process.
  • Communicate any damage or quantity issues to the supervisor or team leader.
  • Unload raw materials from delivery trucks.
  • Deliver all shipping and vendor documentation to the receiving office.
  • Utilize the scanning device to store raw materials after they have been entered into the system and sampled.
  • Prepare and organize raw and intermediate materials for production using the scanner.
  • Transport raw and intermediate materials from the loading dock to designated staging areas for manufacturing.
  • Move intermediate and finished products from staging areas to the loading dock using the scanner.
  • Transfer intermediate and finished goods from the receiving area to storage locations within the warehouse.
  • Prepare and organize finished products for shipment to clients.
  • Verify all documentation and pallet labels for product details and quantities to ensure accuracy before loading onto outbound trucks.
  • Alert relevant personnel when significant discrepancies arise.
  • Assist with maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Manage and dispose of scrap or waste materials using the compactor or baler.
  • Ensure office areas are stocked with necessary supplies.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a regulated or pharmaceutical setting is advantageous.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move over 50 pounds.
  • Basic skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and verbal communication.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to wear safety gear including glasses, hearing protection, respirators, gloves, and other necessary equipment.
  • Basic proficiency with tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with DOT, OSHA, FDA/DEA regulations, cGMP, and SOPs is a plus.
