Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in a maintenance role, ideally within the food manufacturing sector.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a leadership capacity within maintenance teams.
  • Proven experience in establishing maintenance policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments to resolve issues.
  • High attention to detail and critical thinking abilities for strategic problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and statistical analysis software.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 15 years in manufacturing or maintenance management.
  • Experience in developing preventive maintenance and safety initiatives.
  • Background in leading production teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • 20 years of experience in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Normal visual and auditory capabilities.
  • Average physical strength and mobility.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift weights of 30 lbs. or more.

Work Environment:

The work environment is characterized by moderate noise levels and potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Activities may involve proximity to moving machinery and prolonged exposure to varying temperatures.
