We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist RRT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
About the RoleThe Respiratory Therapist RRT will be responsible for coordinating and delivering respiratory care services to patients, including diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities- Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
- Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in respiratory care, including knowledge of respiratory physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
