We seek individuals who are passionate about nurturing children's growth, both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading and mentoring less experienced educators, demonstrating effective teaching practices and providing constructive feedback.
- Oversee classroom management, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all children.
- Act as a role model, fostering a growth mindset to inspire a love of learning in young minds.
- Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, tailoring activities to meet the unique developmental needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
- Create a supportive and safe atmosphere where children can thrive through play and learning.
- Maintain regular communication with families, sharing updates on their children's progress and experiences through various channels.
- Collaborate with center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
- Build strong relationships with families and colleagues, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning coexist harmoniously.
- State certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- One year of professional teaching experience is preferred; at least six months of experience is required.
- An Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) is essential.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Must comply with state-specific guidelines for this role.
