- Contribute to the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, maintaining current knowledge and competence
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Apply evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge to critical care nursing
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (may be required depending on unit)
