Job Summary:

TotalMed Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in a top-rated healthcare facility. As a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork and communication among colleagues

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
