About This Opportunity
The Goddard School of Wentzville, MO is looking for a Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for young children.

In this role, you will work closely with our experienced teachers to plan and implement curriculum activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in children from six weeks to six years old. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with parents to ensure a smooth transition between home and school.

As a Preschool Teacher Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting classroom teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Providing support to children with special needs
  • Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working with young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling children and equipment
