Job Summary

Lakeshore Employment Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Manage repairs and maintenance with vendors and ensure the proper care of the property.
  • Maintain pools, landscaping, utilities, roads, signage, clubhouse, and other community infrastructure elements.
  • Ensure the quality of the community and maintain public areas in a clean and safe fashion.
  • Supervise outside contractors working on the property.
  • Adhere to all maintenance and purchasing directives.
  • Prepare inventory homes for sale or rent.
  • Troubleshoot any needs for the property.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Minimum of two (2) years general experience in building trades, plumbing, repair and replacement maintenance, or handy work.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
  • Ability to use email.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with 3 years of good driving history.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift lbs. following appropriate safety procedures.
  • Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
  • Ability to crawl in small and tight spaces.
  • Work in different environmental working conditions.
  • Walk and climb stairs, handle, finger, grasp, and feel objects and equipment.
  • Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
  • Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions.
  • Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms.
Compensation

$19.00/Hr (Based on experience) plus up to 5% quarterly bonus and housing discount.
