Facilities Engineer

As a skilled Facilities Engineer with Total Management Systems, you will play a vital role in maintaining the physical integrity of our hotels.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel maintenance, ensuring that all aspects of the common areas and guest rooms are well-maintained to minimize outside labor. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain all aspects of the common areas and guest rooms to ensure quality, cleanliness, and safety
• Perform routine maintenance throughout the property, including painting, carpet/floor cleaning, and minor repairs
• Report requests for major repairs to the Chief Engineer in accordance with hotel procedures
• Assist other hotel departments as necessary, and be a team player
• Greets all guests and staff members in the hallways
• Care for and maintains cleaning equipment, including vacuums and chemicals

Requirements:

• Hotel experience is preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods, frequently walk and climb/descend stairs
• Physical dexterity required for grasping objects, kneeling, reaching, crawling, and twisting torso
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance and a maximum of 140 pounds with assistance
