$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will work closely with patients and healthcare teams to deliver safe and effective radiation therapy.

Main Responsibilities:

• Delivers radiation therapy treatment to patients using various modalities, adhering to current protocols and safety guidelines.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring accurate dosages and optimal patient outcomes.
• Provides comprehensive support to patients, addressing physical and emotional concerns and directing them to appropriate resources.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information.
• Contributes to ongoing Quality Assurance initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and participating in process enhancements.
• Fosters a culture of teamwork and continuous learning, mentoring colleagues and students in radiation therapy techniques and best practices.
• Maintains and supplies assigned treatment rooms, ensuring a clean and organized environment for patients and staff.
• Stays current with industry developments and advancements, applying new knowledge and skills to improve patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Associates degree in Radiation Therapy required (2-year academic and affiliation program) and 1 year experience.
• Successful completion of Registry Exam or ARRT eligible and approved by the next ARRT examination.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire.
• Licensed by the Office of Professional Regulation in the state of Vermont.
