Anesthesiologist Position at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their team. As a key member of the Department of Anesthesiology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a medically directed model.
About the Role:- Work in a large team of 34 physicians, 65 CRNAs, and 17 Anesthesia Techs.
- Cover 50 anesthetizing locations daily, with a focus on Lancaster General Hospital and Women and Babies Hospital.
- Contribute to an annual case volume of 32,000 anesthetics, with 750 cardiac surgery cases.
- Be part of a stable and thriving team that has been in private practice for over 50 years.
- Work primarily in a medically directed model, with 75-80% of cases involving a CRNA.
- Share call equally with 2 Anesthesiologists in-house per night, with at-home call including cardiac call and backup call.
- Be well-trained and qualified to handle all types of cases, with a subset of 18 Anesthesiologists also doing cardiac anesthesia.
- Have opportunities for teaching and academic appointments through the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.
- Anesthesiologists with any experience level and availability will be considered.
- An ideal candidate will be interested in being part of a close-knit team, interested in a long-term practice, well-trained, professional, and friendly.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic).
- Must be board certified or board eligible.
