Job Summary

The Candy Room/Nut Room Supervisor is a key member of our production team at Eillien's Candies, Inc. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing and packaging environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for ensuring high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise production employees and provide guidance on job tasks, safety procedures, and quality control measures.
  • Production Planning: Plan and assign work to ensure efficient production processes, meet production targets, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet company standards, and collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve any quality issues.
  • Employee Development: Provide coaching and training to employees to improve their skills and performance, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with production employees, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operation of production.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a production environment, with a focus on employee safety and food safety.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of production processes and quality control measures.
Work Environment

The Candy Room/Nut Room Supervisor will work in a manufacturing and packaging environment, with frequent exposure to allergens, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
