Nursing Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Nursing Instructor to join our team at Navajo Technical University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and facilitating a meaningful and effective learning experience for our students in the classroom, fieldwork, and laboratory settings.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain current curriculum, course outlines, and instructional materials.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
- Supervise students during laboratory work and clinical experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share experience and knowledge.
- Participate in faculty meetings and other meetings as required.
- Associate of Science degree in Nursing.
- Two years teaching experience in the field of study.
- Valid and clean state driver's license.
- Ability to pass background check.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
- Three years of nursing home experience.
- Five years teaching experience in the field of study.
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Knowledge of field of study and techniques and practices in the field.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to present materials effectively to individual students or groups.
