About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Collateral Operations Specialist to join our team at Stellantis Financial Services US. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of collateral documents, ensuring timely processing and transfer to custodians.

As a key member of our operations team, you will work closely with various departments, partners, vendors, and dealers to resolve collateral exceptions, securitizations, and close-outs. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively will be crucial in maintaining high-quality work and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and prepare reports, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.
  • Act as a liaison between SFS Alliance partners, banks, affiliates, and vendors on collateral-related matters, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Manage electronic files and documents provided by vendors, partners, banks, and affiliates, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to security protocols.
  • Work with internal reports and vendor reports to clear outstanding exceptions for missing documents and title paperwork, following established procedures and quality standards.
  • Partner with the Collateral Clerk and Title Clerk to track collateral files being sent to custodians, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Prepare reports for various business units, highlighting different statuses for staff and management reference, and maintain production statistics.
  • Compose letters to borrowers or dealership regarding outstanding titles, ensuring clear communication and resolution.
  • Escalate unresolved collateral and titling issues to Lead/Supervisor/Manager for further action.
  • Perform other clerical duties as needed, including filing, scanning, photocopying, faxing documents, ordering supplies, and processing invoices.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with one to two years' experience in collateral management or similar processes.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • The ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers accurately.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure includes a comprehensive benefits package, offering competitive compensation and opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
