Physician - Occupational Medicine Specialist

The Occupational Medicine Physician is responsible for providing high-quality, cost-effective patient care that supports established specialty practice objectives and strategic organizational goals. The physician establishes preventive measures, diagnoses and treats illnesses and disorders in a competent manner that is consistent with medical practice and protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient care in a cost-effective manner, managing and utilizing resources optimally.
- Establish and maintain current technical knowledge and seek educational and professional opportunities to enhance clinical practice and competency.
- Participate in quality improvement efforts organization-wide and play an active role as a member of medical staff committees.
- Contribute towards the organization's medical staff programs and teaching activities.
- Participate in the peer review process to enhance clinical practice, demonstrating sound judgment and respect for colleagues.
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine.
- Currently licensed to practice medicine with the State of New Jersey.
- Board Certification within specialty and membership on the staff of Atlantic City Medical Center.
- CDS and DEA registration unencumbered.
Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, blood-borne pathogens, hazardous substances, and potential injury.
