Utilizing advanced audiovisual tools and practical workshop activities, the instructor will help deepen the automotive expertise of the participants.
Successful candidates will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment where building relationships is key. Instruction may take place in various settings, including customer facilities. Strong presentation abilities are essential, along with the capacity to meet established objectives within specified timeframes, which may require independent decision-making. Therefore, adept planning and problem-solving skills are vital for excelling in this role.
Language Requirement: Must be bilingual in Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and Educate: Foster an engaging and inclusive educational atmosphere where technicians can thrive, nurturing their enthusiasm for the brand while sharing your expert insights.
- Hands-On Training: Adhere to the learning objectives outlined in the instructor's guide for each course. Leverage strong technical knowledge to instruct dealership technicians and enhance their automotive capabilities. Deliver instruction in both classroom and workshop settings to fulfill curriculum requirements while ensuring an engaging delivery that aligns with OEM standards.
- Curriculum Development: Assist in creating ready-to-use educational materials based on original equipment manufacturer resources and service manuals, including lesson plans, visual aids, assessments, practical applications, and demonstrations.
- Mentorship: Guide and coach technicians during practical workshop sessions.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and OSHA standards, promptly reporting and addressing any unsafe conditions.
- Administrative Duties: Collaborate with the OEM training department to ensure the availability of training materials, tools, and equipment, while documenting training outcomes as directed. Complete administrative tasks punctually and comply with corporate travel policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience as an automotive technician is essential. Technical expertise with OEM vehicles is required, and prior instructional experience is preferred. A minimum of five years in a technical instruction role is advantageous.
- Language Skills: Must be bilingual in Spanish.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively engage with technicians, students, and dealership personnel.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent planning, prioritization, and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in setting up, delivering, and troubleshooting vehicle faults.
- Professionalism: Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, demonstrating sound judgment.
