About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Dishwasher to join our team at Pastini Corvallis. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dish station, ensuring that all dishes, pots, and pans are washed and sanitized to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the supply of clean dishes, pots, and pans, and ensure that all utensils are properly stored and sanitized.
• Clean and sanitize the restaurant, including the front and back of house, as well as the exterior, trash and recycling areas, and parking spaces.
• Sweep and mop restaurant floors using prescribed techniques and materials.
• Deep clean and sanitize all restaurant restrooms, including floors, toilets, sinks, sanitary napkin dispensers, doors, walls, and exhaust fan covers.
• Assist management and staff members with catering deliveries and special assignments as needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a valid food handler's card.
• Demonstrated consistent, effective, and proper hand-washing techniques as outlined by government Health Department agencies and management.

• Ability to arrive on time and ready to start a scheduled shift.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant operation and a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude towards coworkers and management.
• Good time management skills to complete all tasks in a timely manner.

Working Conditions and Environment:

• Ability to work a variety of scheduled shifts based on restaurant volume, including late hours, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Ability to work unscheduled shifts as directed by management and the needs of the company.
• Attendance at all staff, kitchen staff, and dishwashing staff meetings as scheduled by management.
