Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Specialist to join our US Fixed Income team. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for representing our investment teams in client-facing activities, developing and promoting investment products, and providing high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our US fixed income strategies and investment products.
  • Work closely with our US investment grade and high yield investment teams to support client needs and develop new business opportunities.
  • Produce high-quality presentations and data manipulation to support client meetings and business development activities.
  • Support the production of marketing and presentation materials, including data from RFPs/RFIs and client portfolio reporting.
  • Respond to internal requests for data and provide timely and accurate responses to client or prospect queries.
  • Develop and promote a range of products and solutions to respond to future investor demand.
  • Work with Sales and RFP teams to structure high-quality answers to prospect requests and design key messages for product materials.
  • Develop sufficient technical and product knowledge to represent investment teams in client-facing and marketing activities.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree/BS/BA required.
  • Preference for experience in the financial industry, preferably within Fixed Income at an asset management company.
  • Strong understanding of investment concepts and strategies.
  • High level of comfort with quantitative/analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of financial/bond markets and general economics.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, with familiarity with VBA and writing macros a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Powerpoint and Word.
  • Experience with FactSet Portfolio Analytics, Bloomberg, and Tableau a plus.
