Job Title: School Nurse

Job Summary:

The Nashoba Regional School District is seeking a skilled School Nurse to join our team. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing healthcare services to students and staff, promoting a safe and healthy learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify individual health needs
  • Provide direct nursing care to students, including administering first aid and medications
  • Collaborate with school personnel, administration, and healthcare providers to ensure consistent communication and implementation of student health needs
  • Implement district policies and state statutes related to attendance exclusion and readmission, as well as non-compliance with immunization requirements
  • Provide Universal Precautions instruction and reinforcement to students and staff

Requirements:

  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse licensure
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assist in the protection of students and school property
