Key Responsibilities
  • Procedure Preparation: Prepare patients for computed tomographic procedures, ensuring accurate positioning and selection of anatomic and technical parameters.
  • Contrast Media Administration: Administer contrast media and/or medications as required, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Procedure Monitoring: Observe patients during procedures, reporting any abnormal activity and monitoring protocols for updates or refinements.
  • Radiation Safety: Follow established radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a Radiology certification program or registration in Radiology.
  • Experience: No experience required, but a strong understanding of radiology principles and procedures is essential.
  • Licensure: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification and ARRT-R, ARRT-T, and ARRT-CT certifications.
