Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Cedar Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, managing food and supply inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following standard recipes and special diet orders.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage food and supply inventory, including ordering and storage.
  • Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and food handling standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident needs and preferences.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience in a hotel kitchen, restaurant, or similar operation.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and professional, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on resident satisfaction.
