Cyber Threat Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Threat Analyst to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Cyber Threat Analyst, you will play a critical role in detecting and deterring malicious activity by analyzing and interpreting cyber threat intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, document, and analyze raw cyber threat information using various tools and technologies.
  • Conduct strategic assessments on systems and networks to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Provide tactical analyses and recommendations to inform network operations and incident response efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective cyber threat intelligence strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber threats and trends, and adapt our intelligence gathering and analysis techniques accordingly.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in cyber security, with a focus on threat intelligence and analysis.
  • Experience in identifying and assessing supply chain risks, as well as conducting SCRM research and analysis.
  • Knowledge of internet-based research techniques and tactics, including Boolean logic, search engine and database resources, social media, and industry databases.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Veterans Administration or market research.

Compensation:

The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
