Runnings is seeking a dedicated Retail Operations Assistant Manager to support our retail team. This role involves partnering with the Store Manager to oversee merchandising, sales, and overall management within the retail environment. The ideal candidate will prioritize delivering exceptional customer service and will be flexible in their availability, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall sales performance and expenses for the assigned retail location.
  • Coordinate and direct the merchandising of products effectively.
  • Establish priorities for the distribution of new merchandise throughout the store.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels across all departments.
  • Assist customers with a variety of needs, including purchases, returns, and special requests.
  • Collaborate closely with Retail Buyers to stay informed about product requirements and updates.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed when handling merchandise by both employees and customers.
  • Delegate responsibilities to managerial staff as necessary.
