AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused Propane Delivery Representative to join our team. As a Propane Delivery Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering propane to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Safely Operate a Propane Delivery Truck: Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes, adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Filling and Delivering Propane: Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane and deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers.
- Perform Daily Functions Safely: Consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment and perform all daily functions in a safe manner.
- Work Varied Shifts: Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12-hour shifts.
- Competitive Compensation: The hourly rate starts at $27.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
- Eligibility for Bonus and Commissions: Eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales.
- Benefits Package: 17 PTO days plus 7 paid holidays, $5,000 sign-on bonus, ongoing safety incentives, career advancement opportunities, and annual performance reviews.
- Uniforms and Referral Program: Uniforms provided and $2,500 employee referral program.
- Year-Round Medical Coverage and 401k: Year-round medical coverage available as well as a 401k with company match, propane discount year-round, paid holidays, and paid vacation.
- Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements: All Delivery Representatives should have a valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable Driving Record: Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory Completion of DOT Physical, Drug Test, and Background Check: Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to Work Outdoors in All Weather Conditions: Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to Lift Up to 70 lbs: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
