Job Description

We are a Scratch Kitchen specializing in Comfort Food, seeking an experienced Line Cook with a background in breakfast preparation and the ability to cook from a recipe. Our kitchen is a fast-paced, order-driven environment where the right individual will be clean, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in the preparation of meals for the kitchen and dietary department
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
  • Assist with catering events as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • 1 year of prior work experience with griddles as well as food prep
  • Prepare multiple orders in a safe and efficient manner
  • Must have ability to use and properly clean a griddle, grinder, and deep fryer
  • The ability to work in a friendly and effective manner with other team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a culinary or food handling role
  • Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food industry standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
