Job Overview

JBS USA Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled General Ledger Accountant to join our accounting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of operations accounting, working closely with operations and accounting management to reduce costs through reporting and analysis. This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a key role in our facility management team.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing general ledger entries and reconciliations.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Developing and implementing internal control procedures, standards, and compliance.
  • Managing Accounting function at the location to ensure cross-training and adequate coverage across all functions.
  • Coordinating preparation of yearly budgets and ensuring timely completion of financial reports.
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts as assigned and managing payroll functions.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with 18 credit hours in accounting preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operational accounting is also required, preferably with experience in SAP or comparable ERP systems, Excel, and Microsoft. Strong leadership and team skills, as well as effective communication and analytical skills, are essential for this role.

Estimated Salary
$95,000 - $125,000 per year.
