Job Summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist PT to join our team. As a Physical Therapist PT, you will provide physical therapy services to patients who have impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. You will work in collaboration with other members of an interdisciplinary team to educate patients, families, and others, and to direct and supervise support personnel. You will also manage technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and evaluate physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect an understanding of patients' age and situation, including discharge plans.
- Revise treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
- Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
- Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
- Identify and act upon performance improvement opportunities to implement best practices.

Qualifications

- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic skills in math and computer science.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
- Ability to safely execute all job responsibilities without risking injury to self or patients.

- Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
- High level of service delivery, with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
