We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. Our hospital is a full-service, 420+ bed acute care facility that has provided high-quality, cost-effective healthcare to the northeast Houston community for over 25 years.

About Us

As a Level I Stroke Center and an Accredited Chest Pain Center, we offer comprehensive stroke and cardiovascular services, including open heart and vascular surgery. Our Orthopedic Center features total joint replacement surgery using advanced technology. We also have an Advanced Brain & Spine Center, which includes a DNV Comprehensive Stroke Center and the Sleep Center of Excellence.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity patient care in our MICU. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the MICU.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions and develop effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other nursing staff as needed.
Requirements
  • CurrenRegistered Nurse license in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • 1 year of RN ICU experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
  • ACLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
