We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Sentara Outpatient Rehab Therapy Center - Pond Way. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a physical therapist to administer physical therapy treatments and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist
  • Assist in the development of treatment plans and carry out routine functions
  • Document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist
  • Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers
  • Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members
Requirements
  • Associate's Level Degree: Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
  • Physical Therapist Assistant License (PTA) - Valid in the state of Virginia
