Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital. The successful candidate will provide customized, intensive rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments to identify areas of improvement and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide speech therapy to patients, using evidence-based techniques and technologies to maximize outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY).
- Current licensure in the state of California and Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
