Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide instruction and support to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and one-on-one sessions
  • Collaborate with other educators, related service providers, and parents to ensure that students receive a comprehensive and coordinated education
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in special education and implement research-based strategies in the classroom
Requirements
  • Eligibility for or possession of a dual credential in Mild/Moderate with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Minimum of the following documentation: copy of transcript, credential copy, letter of introduction, letters of recommendation, resume, and education specialist instruction credential
